Noob mit Treiberproblemen.

Als erstes möchte ich bitte bitte den Spruch nicht hören das ich mich als noob nicht an sid halten sollte ^^

mein problem ist das sowohl lan (realtek) als auch wlan (deutlich wichtiger da ich keine kabel liegen habe ^^ - broadcom .... ist ein airport aus meinem alten macbook)

nun wurd ich (bisher nur ubuntu mint und den kram benutzt) bei der installation zum ersten mal darauf hingewiesen das ich die firmware fürs lan brauche  .... auf ner sd karte die debs(pauschal alle non frees inkl dem realtek) rübergewurfen dpkg -i *.deb (jaja holzhammer) --> keine meldung mehr das ne firmware fehlen würde --> installation

nunja jetzt find ich keine netzwerkinterfaces und steh ziemlich aufm schlauch, da ich wie gesagt eher ein noob bin ^^

ach gucke einer an, die realtek geht auch

ceni funzt nur kde findet in seinen settings nix, liegt also wohl eher mein problem bei kde ^^

naja man hätte halt schon gerne ein os "aus einem stück" und wenn ich bei KDE auf settings  --> network gehe würd ich da schon gern mal meine netzwerke sehen und verwalten können .... denn dort ist alles leer als wäre kein gerät erkannt

Hi Nemesis2k,
der network-manager vom KDE hat so seine Eigenheiten, deshalb wird hier ceni, wpa_supplicant, wpa_gui (WLAN-Roaming) empfohlen und supported. Außerdem kannst mit folgenden Kommandos sehen ob dein Netwerk funktioniert:

Listet alle vorhanden aber nicht unbedingt aktiven Netzwerkdevices auf
