Not working here. I removed all my extensions, adblock+ and element hiding but that didn't help

If you test it with another browser (chromium-browser, konqueror, whatever), you might learn whether the problem is limited to iceweasel, or is bigger than that.
System76 Oryx Pro, Intel Core i7-11800H, ASRock B860 Pro-A, Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF, Nvidia GTX-1060, SSD 990 EVO Plus.

Tested with chromium and there it works with no problem. Purged iceweasel and installed again, same problem :(

Edit: Checked with another computer, same problem. The main is a Thinkpad T400 and the other checked is a Lenovo Ideapad z360. Both are 64 bit xfce.

which version of IW?

I am here with a newer one from http://mozilla.debian.net/
Maybe give it a try.
Ok, you can't code, but you still might be able to write a bug report for Debian's sake

I have 17.0.6, installed from debian experimental 21.0, same problem.

Also checked one more computer here, Thinkpad Edge 64 bit xfce same problem

I don't know whether it makes any difference, but I have installed the esr (extended support release) version (you may choose at http://mozilla.debian.net/ under "version)

Did you know, when you purge a package, the config files in your home were *not* removed! If you then reinstall this or a new package, you have the same config as before. So you always should make sure to remove or save away the config file/folders in your home if you want try a new install.
Maybe you could test the current install, but save away your home/IW folder.

You could try a live CD and install flash as a test, too.

When I try esr it shows just to install iceweasel without changing repo, so I think esr is standard in sid?

Here it looks like this:
Quote# apt-cache policy iceweasel

 Installationskandidat: 17.0.6esr-1
 Versionstabelle:

I edited my above posting (config in home), please read.

I did a new installation on the T400 on the second hd. With a new installed 64 bit xfce with the newest iceweasel and newest flashplugin it works perfect. After a complete d-u it fails again. So my conclusion so far is that it is something else than Iceweasel and flash is causing the problem alone.

Edited: Now I have also tried to start with some older kernels but that didn't make any difference.

Maybe the part of this topic related to my problem shall be moved from upgrade-warnings, so we are not bothering others in this important place? That's up to the moderators to decide.

It's worth a bug report. And if you don't find the culprit it's still IW not working.

Just tried with the new release, Firestarter, installed Iceweasel and flasplugin-nonfree on live cd and I have the same problem there.

Edited: Also purged flashplugin and tried with browser-plugun-gnash, same problem....

Maybe ariasia isn't the best site to test with. Today it does not work here, neither with IW, nor with Opera.

I have the same problems on some other sites, but this problems disappears if I disable adblocker. It bothers me, because the problem looks the same but on air asia it's not the adblock.

Edited: I checked around a little more, seems like it's only Air Asia so far that have this problem not related to adblock-plugin. So maybe we shall leave this for a while and say it's a Air Asia problem? They are nice and cheap to fly with though ;)

Tell *them* about the problem if you like this airline.

Bump
Flash 11.2.202.297 is out today.

Note: if you use the cron script in the 3rd post in this thread, don't forget the '#!/bin/sh'...
