Danke für deine guten Worte, devil.   ;)

Vor zwei Tagen kam in siduction Conky in Version 1.10.8 'rein und damit ist mir doch quasi als "Präsentation" für die CLT der "Einbau" eines Lua-Wetter-Script gelungen, was ich bisher für nicht möglich hielt. 
Da kommt man wirklich ins Schwitzen...   :P





Habe das alles versucht hier zusammenzutragen.

Edit: @devil, du bist schneller als ich.   ;D   Ich muß an @melmarker's Worte denken (sehr zutreffend beschrieben): "Silver Geek", das merkt man deutlich.   ;)    :P

Das artet dann richtig in Arbeit aus, ops. Ich will es dir aber so einfach, wie möglich machen. Sei dir bewußt, @damo ist Conky-Oberklasse!   ::)

Der API-Schlüssel war eine Zugabe von damo, er funktioniert noch immer   :)   und, du mußt den Pfad zur tmp-Datei entsprechend anpassen.

Wegen des Rechtsklick(-Menü) auf das Conky-Fenster in lxde-openbox hier gespielt. Es funktioniert (nicht immer   ???  und der bunsen-user scheint auch kein Interesse mehr zu haben) Naja   ;D

Ich habe gerade Kernel 5.1.4 installiert und wollte eigentlich nur zeigen, towo's Kernel machen auch Anderen mächtig "Dampf".   ;)



Diese antiX-17.4-base wurde vor über zwei Monaten installiert.
Dabei kann man auswählen, ob sie mit den Repo's stable, testing oder sid laufen soll. @anticapitalista, der auch hier im Forum öfters zugange ist, hatte immer mal darauf hingewiesen, das antiX auch mit dem siduction-Kernel gut läuft. Also habe ich die Repo's mit eingerichtet und seitdem laufen hier die Kernel von towo völlig schmerzfrei und zuverlässig.
antiX kommt ohne systemd daher und wird eigentlich für ältere Rechner gepflegt.

Ich habe soeben das x40 auf den aktuellsten Stand gebracht. Sträflichst habe ich manchmal einen Monat zwischen den

Bisher, toi, toi, toi, keine schwerwiegende Probleme mit siduction erlebt. Natürlich kann ich damit keine Videos gucken, aber zum lesen in Foren und e-mail ist es nach wie vor ausgezeichnet geeignet.

@piper, I replaced the liquorix kernel with the kernel from sid. It runs better on this device.   ;)

Im Herbst 2011 hatte ich dem Gerät eine kleine SSD spendiert. Eingerichtet habe ich sie damals, wie von @devil empfohlen.
Es ist erstaunlich, dass sie keinerlei Leistungsverluste zeigt. Darauf betreibe ich siduction und bunsenlabs je 32bit mit einer gemeinsamen Datenpartition.
