Have you chosen a symbol for the siduction?the aptosid is the scorpion. Are you going to keep the same? Could you start a contest to the community choose one just in case.

we will not keep the scorpion this much is clear.

We have not decided if we would also design a mascot.

We are community based all the way. We let the community work with us and decide on many things. We are brave, but not out of our minds
Iremember a user-contest for a wallpaper back in sidux times, which brought us the ugliest wallpaper ever (for sidux), aptosod has topped that easily with the one for imera)
Making decisions on art-related things is hard enough within the team, as you can see, because its taken us weeks so far. A logo is the face of a distribution, it shall be choosen wisely and with little emotion involved on a professional, design-orientated level. That will happen tomorrow night. Once the logo is voted on, we can choose a palette and move on with the overall design, including new webdesign.
I dont think we want or need a mascot, we strive for a clean design-concept. so be prepared for something new.
