Replace GDM for Slim

A lot of distros have jumped out from the GDM display manager wagon,  but in my latest XFCE Siduction install I noticed that it came with it.  A lot of distros have changed to Slim or a lighter and more customizable DM.  Even the people from Linux Mint replaced it with MDM (I think it's a DM of their own). So my humble suggestion would be to run away from GDM.

really ? my Siduction XFCE came with lightdm ... where did you get yours ?
