Firefox KDE Theme

Just wanted to share a theme I found on KDE-Look. I like the look and feel, and, it improved the icons IMHO.  Check it out if you are tired of the same old Firefox/Iceweasel look.

BTW - The options for the Oxygen KDE Theme can be found under Tools in the menu.  No need to go into Preferences to change options.  Although you might need to restart in order for the changes to take effect.

I used that theme earlier and found (and still find) it one of the best looking ones. Nonetheless I switched to Strata Reloaded https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/strata-reloaded which fits my eyes a bit more.

I still need time to play with all the options, but, so far I'm glad I found it.  Nice to get rid of that gtk look that Firefox had.

@craigevil - Yours is set up nice color wise.  That's what I want to experiment with.

Is there a way to change the file picker to the usual KDE one (as it is also used in LibreOffice or Chromium)?

And I don't mean the "allow_platform_file_picker" option in about:config.

And why not use the allow_platform_picker?

Changing it to false gives you the kde/qt look rather than the ugly gtk.

You can always try to get firefox-kde-support to build for Debian/siduction. It is what Opensuse and Kubuntu use.

I know, that is what I am using now. But there I miss "my places" (shortcuts to often used folders).

Yeah that is true. Unfortunately I am far away from being knowledged in that area. And right now I don't have the time to read myself into it

I tried this today and it's very nice. But it seems to slow down my firefox (whole system) down and I got nearly ~25-30% cpu usage.

What about the other testers here? Do they also recognize a browser slowdown?

Not on my machine. Iceweasel at rest takes 0.0% CPU. About 45% when changing a tab which rapidly falls back to 0.0%.

Just an FYI, when you get the update for FF13, it will say that the addon is not compatible.  One must install the 3.9 edition.  It will update the older 3.8, and you'll be good to go.
