First, I'm happy to be a member and user of Siduction Desperado.
I think it would have been cool to use some music of
Ennio Morricone or Sergio Leone.

My apologies if I misspelled either.

Desperado came from the Eagles song, but, a little snippet from "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" as KDE launch sound would have been very cool.

I created a startup and shutdown file.  From For a Few Dollars More.  If you're interested I could email them.  I think it's cool with the Desperado background.  :D

GoinEasy9

Absolutely, I'd love to give them a try.

This is funny - I have used The Good, The Bad and the Ugly for a while. I agree that it fits with Desperado!
Of course, if we had gone with "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving With a Pict", for the release, we would have any number of system sounds.

Edit: First post, really? Howdy all.

Welcome ghstryder,

Pink floyd will probably make for a future release plan, but for sure it will not be that song :)
Noone could ever remember it right :)

@devil: We can take the albums name in this special case. But i think a shortend "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" would fit better.
There's this special biologist word we use for "stable". It's "dead". ~ Jack Cohen
