I've been away visiting a land called "Arch" but am back. Learned a lot there, but I've had some problematic (/lib) updates. I am hoping that Debian will do a better job with updates (even under Sid).

I installed the XFCE desktop in Siduction since I like XFCE a lot.

But one unexpected thing was that I got my Broadcom 4312 internal wifi working in Siduction! On linux 3.4.4 it was (apparently) not working, but after the update to 3.4.5, it magically started working.

I might open a separate thread but I have noticed some quirkyness in my mysql-server install where apt-get install <some> keeps circling back to finish the mysql install. odd.

Thanks to all and good to be back.
Steve.

you can try to do aapt-get install mysql-foo-5.5where foo is whatever you have installed {client, server, etc}.
