I had to reinstall W7.

Now can not get into siduction.

Currently running Live CD.

No wish to install again as I had been upgrading.

What to I do?

I see TOWO online.

Thanks

in sda1 and siduction in disk1part7
Fortunately can boot with live-cd.
where did I screw-up?
I had copy-pasted before reboot:

root@siduction:/home/siducer# mkdir -p /media/[hda1,sda1,disk1]
root@siduction:/home/siducer# mount /dev/sda1 /media/sda7
fuse: failed to access mountpoint /media/sda7: No such file or directory
root@siduction:/home/siducer# mount  /dev/dev/sda1 /media/disk1part7
mount: special device /dev/dev/sda1 does not exist
root@siduction:/home/siducer# mount /dev/sda1 /media/disk1part7
root@siduction:/home/siducer# grub-install --recheck --no-floppy --root-directory=/media/disk1part7 /dev/sda
Installation finished. No error reported.
root@siduction:/home/siducer#

Thanks.

Just to make sure that I had not shot my W7 and other data partitions (needed for my bread), I just did the safe stuff, installed siduction. All seems OK now.

BTW siduction has damn good reviews on net. Congratulations. I am using it after a long time. The CD was old, so shall download latest release and install instead of dist-upgrade.

Did it before looking for reply. Seeing it now.

Well, re-installing Windows will in any case destroy the linux-bootloader. eg grub. In M$-land there is a saying: There can be only one.
