alternative to xscreensaver

Hi,

i'm looking for an alternative to xscreensaver. If i close my notebook the screen should be locked until a password is entered. So i used xscreensaver but now i installed a new system with LXDE and so i am looking for an alternative.

For me, the best alternative to xscreensaver is having no screensaver at all. For saving power (especially important on portable devices) debian's dpms settings do fine enough (black screen and display turned off after some minutes without interaction), to have a look at all settings: 'xset q'.

If you really want to have a screensaver, there's no real alternative on lean systems to xscreensaver (without pulling unneeded dependencies), at least i don't know any.
