usbview not working

As I have problem with one of my usb sticks, I installed "usbview" which when opend complaints missing modules or usbdevfs filesystem mounted

Can not open the file /sys/kernel/debug/usb/devices

Verify that you have USB compiled into your kernel,
have the USB core modules loaded, and have the
usbdevfs filesystem mounted.

Do we have a kernel problem with siduction? What else prevents it from working?
