Wie bekomme ich mein Lan-Netzwerk zum aktivieren?

Mit fw-detect habe ich mein WLan zum laufen bekommen, bei der Installation hatte ich kein Netzwerk aktiv, kein Kabel angeschlossen.

Die Ethernet-Karte wird beim booten vom Bios abgefragt, nur nicht gefunden. PXE sucht beim starten danach.

Das kann gut möglich sein, ich möchte ja ein DU machen, leider hat mein Rechner etwas gegen die Tastenkombi: Strg+Alt+F1, sehe dann nur einen schwarzen Bildschirm.

wir wollen wissen welche grafikkarte aktiv ist und welcher treiber läuft.

ins init 3 kannst du wechseln durch "init 3" befehl in der konsole oder durch anfügen von "3" in grub


EDIT: ach, moment, laut inxi ausgabe oben ist vesa geladen!
das ist natürlich für den hintern... wieso läuft nicht der intel treiber? ist wohl n problem mit den zwei grafikkarten...

EDIT2: vesa wegen forcevesa und nomodeset... toll...
Deka, erklär jetzt bitte, wieso du das so machst? wieso nicht den intel treiber oder halt den nvidia treiber verwenden für eine deiner grafikkarten?

Das mit init in der Konsole werde ich versuchen, die Grub-Einstellung mit der 3 kenne ich nicht.

Vesa musste ich bei der Installation auswählen, sonst hätte die Installation nicht geklappt. Werde heute Abend noch die Xorg.0.log im normalen Kernel-Modus mit "nomodeset" posten.

Der Parameter für die Intel-Graka ist mir nicht bekannt, habe fälschlicher Weise angenommen das mit vesa immer der normale Treiber geladen wird, kein ATI/Nvidia.
nomodeset ist wichtig um überhaupt an dem Notebook arbeiten zu können, sonst hängt sich die Grafik auf.

hört sich wie Optimus an. vor einiger zeit gab es einige threads dazu...

brauchst du überhaupt zwei grafikkarten? irgendwie machen die bisher unter linux eigentlich nur probleme... kannst du nvidia oder intel im bios deaktivieren?

Wie kriege ich das mit der 3 in Grub hin, das ich in init 3 komme und ein DU machen kann. Dann werden die fehlenden Treiber bestimmt geladen, oder?

Mit init 3 in der Konsole wird nur wieder der Bildschirm schwarz, keine weiteren Aktivitäten. Neustarten, Herunterfahren hat das gleiche Symptom.

Ideen wie ich ein DU machen kann?

Mit dem Eintrag der 3 in /etc/inittab bei ID:5, die 5 durch die 3 ersetzt.
Werde erst einmal alles installieren, sind ca. 800MB.
Das wird wohl die Nacht über dauern ;-)

in den logs oben wird jedes mal nomodeset als parameter übergeben, und die xorg.conf verwendet (was steht da überhaupt drin?). damit verbaust du dir imho die lösung.

ich würde empfehlen nach einer möglichkeit zu suchen die nvidia oder intel grafikkarte zu deaktivieren, um nur eine zu verwenden und dafür passende treiber zu nutzen. wie schon erwähnt, ich glaube das stichwort ist "nvidia optimus"
