siduction-settings-lightdm-december[code] is on hold here. Can it be purged?

der_bud

Hm, here it was  siduction-settings-lightdm-gtk-december that got hold because of a dependency mismatch with some other package. I got it solved by explicitely reinstallingapt-get install --reinstall siduction-settings-lightdm-gtk-december

Don't know if that helps if your concern really is the package without -gtk-

thanks der_bud,
I cannot judge, whether that is good for my inst or not.

"....december.." looks for me as a residue from the inst with the installer working soso.

Can I purge? Or do I have to update or how do I get rid off?

Thnaks for hints.

Looks to me like you need :

siduction-settings-lightdm-gtk-december installed .

from apt-cache show siduction-settings-lightdm-gtk-december :

Breaks: siduction-lightdm-settings, siduction-settings-lightdm-december
Replaces: siduction-lightdm-settings, siduction-settings-lightdm-december

Looks safe to purge siduction-settings-lightdm-december

Hmm, when I purged siduction-settings-lightdm-december I lost the background on my login screen.  I wonder if purge was too drastic an action.
