du wants to remove 11 kde pim packages
« on: 2014/08/26, 21:10:06 »
Since my du a few days ago Kmail2 has been buggy.  I'd like a KDE update, but it wants to remove 11 KDE PIM packages.  I only see one new install that replaces any removals. Are removing these part of the upgrade or is it a problem?

Code: [Select]
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -d
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Calculating upgrade... Done
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  libeventviews4 libincidenceeditorsng4 libksieveui4 libmailcommon4 libmailimporter4 libmarblewidget18 libmessagecomposer4 libmessageviewer4 libnoteshared4 libpimcommon4
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  libmarblewidget19 libshine3 libva-drm1
The following packages have been kept back:
  jitsi libvlc5 vlc vlc-data vlc-nox vlc-plugin-pulse
The following packages will be upgraded:
