Ist das Iconset in Plasma 5 änderbar?

Bin seit gestern dabei meinen Rechner zu modernisieren. altes Board raus, neues Z170 mit Skylake rein und nun beginnen nach der Installationdes neuesten KDE-AMD64 Images die Probleme. Werde hier zu jedem einen Thread öffnen und auch die von mir gefundenen Bugs posten. Vielleicht auch nützlich in Hinblick auf das kommende Release.

Kein Bug und auch nicht so wichtig, mehr optischer Natur: ich finde die im Krusader und Dolphin angezeigten "flachen" Icon nicht sehr übersichtlich. Kubuntu verwendet die wohl auch.

Gibt es einen weg zurück zu blauen Ordnern usw...?

Hard to find, but using your favorite search engine, look for  MIB Ossigeno Ultimate Icons (I still use these on all my boxes)

I just can't stand this flat mania with icons, it's terrible and ugly in both linux & android

I beg to differ. I think the new iconset fits very nicely with Plasma 5.x and gives it a taken back and distinguished look, that does not get in your way. I think, as is, this is the best KDE ever, even though there is a few slamm glitches and missing things still.

I still feel not to comfortable with Plasma 5.4.3 and miss some things. But I use linux and especially KDE long enough to know that it will grow and get better. I always liked KDE4 and I still miss my old system

When it comes to flat icons, well thats a question of taste, but I really need to look always twice. The different colors helped me to distinguish them faster. So I agree with piper, not my cup of tea. Especially the USB Symbol is in my opinon horrible.

The same is valid for the colourd folder icons. helps a lot to navigate.
Is it possible to change the flat symbols next to the clock (Symbolleiste)?


Auf Deutsch: Bin noch nicht ganz warm geworden mit Plasma 5. Aber ich bin lange genug dabei, um zu wissen, dass es nur eine Frage der zeit ist, bis es reift. KDE4 fand ich super, klar am Anfang war es das auch nicht, kam aber ab KDE 4.5. Noch vermisse ich mein KDE 4.14 ein wenig, aber das ist nur eine Frage der Zeit.

Zu den flachen Symbolen: Geschmackssache, aber die fehlende Farbinformation kostet Zeit. ich brauche fürs Navigieren länger. Also definitiv nicht mein Ding!
Auch das USB Symbol sieht furchtbar aus. Kann ich das einfach ändern?

Das gleiche gilt für transparente Ordnersymbole, die Farbinformation ist für mich wichtig. Aber wie gesagt, Geschmackssache!

Don't get me wrong, I agree that this is the best KDE ever, icons are "ok" for stock.

It is great we have a choice, I just don't like flat, which is now the latest trend.
