Can't add program Icon in Plank problem solved.

I want to add Thunderbird to plank. I grab the Thunderbird Icon in the menu which has a green plus sign while dragging to plank. the icons in plank spread apart making room for the Thunderbird Icon telling me to drop it in the space which I do nothing happens and the Thunderbird icon dissappears.

Problem Solved. Open the program you want to add to Plank, then right click on that Icon and choose "keep in dock"
