Kontact, qt 5.11 and Nouveau

When I upgraded to qt 5.11, Kontact kept crashing when opening up messages, changing to HTML  or scrolling down, with
Received signal 11 SEGV_MAPERR
nouveau: kernel rejected pushbuf: Invalid argument
Since I've put QT_XCB_FORCE_SOFTWARE_OPENGL=1 in as an environment variable, it hasn't. Possibly not the most elegant way of doing it, but it seems to be working at the moment.
Just in case anyone else came across the same problem.
