boost transition
« on: 2018/11/17, 15:49:07 »
I am seeing some potential removals because of the boost transition. Use caution if you have packages not yet updated for the new boost version (1.67):
https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/boost1.67.html

Code: [Select]
# apt-get dist-upgrade Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Calculating upgrade... Done
The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required:
  libboost1.62-dev
Use 'apt autoremove' to remove it.
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  libboost-system-dev libboost-system1.62-dev libtorrent-rasterbar-dev
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  libboost-atomic1.67.0 libboost-chrono1.67.0 libboost-date-time1.67.0 libboost-filesystem1.67.0 libboost-random1.67.0 libboost-system1.67.0 libboost-thread1.67.0 pango1.0-tools
The following packages will be upgraded:
  gir1.2-pango-1.0 libpango-1.0-0 libpango1.0-dev libpangocairo-1.0-0 libpangoft2-1.0-0 libpangoxft-1.0-0 libphonenumber7 libtorrent-rasterbar9
