Could start anytime as soon as end of the year to early spring.

ok, my glassball was verbose - +1 year (+/- one year)

PS: Don't ask for a fucking ETA - we all don't know nothing - but the cycle was somtehing like two years - more or less, nobody can answer.

The fine thing about is that we don't care - sid will never ever be released, so we don't care about the stable release cycle.

Who says that he (registered, 1 posting, not seen since) means sid and not siduction? Maybe it's just the usual question of a current image.

QuoteThe Debian devs are currently considering the following dates as freeze dates.
There not totally set in stone yet, but don't expect to change them.

2021-01-12      - Milestone 1 - Transition and (build-)essentials freeze
2021-02-12      - Milestone 2 - Soft Freeze
2021-03-12      - Milestone 3 - Hard Freeze - for key packages and packages without autopkgtests
To be announced - Milestone 4 - Full Freeze
