As of now, KDE SC 4.10.2 is uploaded to our repository and can be dist-upgraded to. Thanks to santa for packaging it so fast for us.

In short it says: problem solved which was caused by outdated packages from (discouraged) multimedia repo. Solution: Uninstall affected packages manually, dist-upgrade, reinstall those packages.
This problem should not occur if you don't have activated deb-multimedia.

Hmm, I have (discouraged) multimedia repo enabled, I also build with it (siduction-12.2.0-ridersonthestorm-kde-amd64-201304031453.iso) as I use mythtv on 4 computers, no problems here with dist-upgrade or a build.

I assume you are talking about a completly updated system, manlig was talking about "old stock" packages (altbestände) from deb-mm, which lets me assume his system wasn't in an up-to-date status. That presumably makes the difference.
Ok, you can't code, but you still might be able to write a bug report for Debian's sake

piper

Ah, Yes, I have a completely updated system, if anything, like today, a day behind in a dist-upgrade (didn't do one today yet, due to 4 hours  a day every day of sleep)

hehe... sometimes it is confusing with the languages...
:_)

If someday we have a new forum, maybe we can have different backgrounds for the languagesections.

Hi,

thanks for the fixes.

piper,
the probs with libavcodec53 were only reported from 32-bit systems. My guess is, manlig has 32-bit as well

This one is a non-issue for me (I found it accidentally), but it might affect someone:

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

English: In any case - please replace the qtcurce* packages with the gtk?-engines-oxygen packages. After that your desktop will be 20-30% more responsive with gtk-Apps like inkscape and firefox. Also the number of crashs in gtk-apps, esp. inkscape will decrease significantly.

dibl: This is infact noteworthy: Please have experimental only active, if you really need it. There is no other clean solution for that as $foo-x will ever be bigger than $foo-x~siduction?y

Good point -- thanks!  This is the price of laziness, I think.

More or less all went fine with the upgrade(from 4.9.5) but one package doesn't want to upgrade. If I now run DU I get:

$ apt-get dist-update
Reading package lists...
Building dependency tree...
Reading state information...
You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
kdelibs-bin : Depends: libkdecore5 (= 4:4.9.5-0r1) but 4:4.10.2-0r0~siduction1 is installed
              Depends: libkdeui5 (= 4:4.9.5-0r1) but 4:4.10.2-0r0~siduction1 is installed
              Depends: libkio5 (= 4:4.9.5-0r1) but 4:4.10.2-0r0~siduction1 is installed

              Depends: libkjsembed4 (= 4:4.9.5-0r1) but 4:4.10.2-0r0~siduction1 is installed

kdelibs5-dev : Depends: kdelibs-bin (= 4:4.10.2-0r0~siduction1) but 4:4.9.5-0r1 is installed

I had to run to fix it:

$ apt-get -f -t experimental install

@Agaida: Kannst Du da mal zu qtcurve nen Extrathread aufmachen?

Ich würde gerne wssen, was daheintersteckt.
Leider sind deine Aussagen auch nicht in beiden Sprachen deckungsgleich:
qtcurve entfernen oder ersetzen?
