THE FORUM IS DEAD, LONG LIVE THE FORUM.

Bye bye Zikula, we will not miss you much!

Congratulations  :D

There is one thing I notice, it seems  there are a couple of re-directions in the internal links.
Also, the spell checker didn't work correct here, it mark errors, but didn't suggest corrections in the context menu. I wouldn't nitpicking here, just in case you didn't note that already.

New forum looks pretty good here -- congratulations!  A few new things to get used to -- newest post on top of thread, login moved to left side, etc.

Only one button to post a reply -- that is a nice improvement.  I don't know how many times I hit "Reply" when I needed to hit "Submit", on the old forum, and lost my post.

I don't see the redirection issue -- where is that?

That looks like a bad URL -- a typo or something.

OK here is an issue -- I was going to PM agaida, but I think I will post it here and then possibly someone else can assist him (I am willing, but don't know anything about the new software).  The automatic e-mail notification is giving the information only in German.  That's not going to work for the English-speakers.  Perhaps the automated message could be in both German and English for the quick fix.  Here is my translation of the message I received:

There will be ongoing configuration and beatification for a couple of days. Right now we are not even done moving. I willo open a subthread for bugs and wishes. There we can e.g. discuss if it makes sense to show the latest reply first or if we should stay with the old way and anything else that comes up.

Ha, Ha, funny thing, I'm, as a native German speaker receive this Mail message in Englisch.

That can pretty easy be changed in your profile. Just check/uncheck the box accordingly.

Anyway, congrats and thanks for the new forum.
I've found a couple of missing, not yet working, malfunctioning things but knowing that you are in the middle of a migration process I will wait a couple of days before mentioning them.

If the new thread is open, please point me to it. I have not seen it.

For me, even though I have selected English, it occasionally puts me back into German. I click English again, and it works, but a little later it will throw me back to German, again. I have not identified any particular thing that triggers this.

I just got home from work, and, I got to say, the site looks a lot better.  I do prefer seeing the newest posts below.  Reading the thread in reverse feels weird.

All in all, we've waited a long time.  It's nice to see the new site finally here.

Now to see what else is going on here.

Testing edit:  Made post on Rekonq.  After it saved, it logged me out and the site went from English to German, but, that's Rekonq, I'm having no problems using Firefox/Iceweasel.

BTW - You can change in what order the posts show up in the user profile.  I changed mine and the most recent posts are on the bottom.

I just logged out and logged back in, in Firefox/Iceweasel, and the site came up in German.  Clicking the US flag brought it back to English, but, there should be a setting to make it depend on the user profile.

I edited my last post twice.  After that, I don't get an option to edit a third time.  Is there a setting that restricts the number of edits?

At some point it may be nice to strip the "New" flags off of the threads.  -- (Solved in next post.)
