siduction release delayed / verspätet

The possibility exists, but I can't give you confirmation at this point, as the maintainers of Qt/KDE in Debian are still working on Plasma 6.6.

I am rather a noob but had the latest version of siduction running for a while, now I broke it due to some dumb action. Anyway - trying to restart from scratch and using the latest iso and immediately after setup running all the update&upgrade commands, some things that worked before seem to be broken. Won´t go into details at this moment because that would be topic for another thread.

Still - I have to apologize because it might have been answered multiple times before, but can someone explain, how siduction really is different from setting up the latest stable debian and then switching "mirrors" to sid ?
I only read that there is "a lot of background" work that is done by the siduction team (thanks for that!) , but as a beginner: which kind of background work can I think of? Can this be explained in some not too technical sentences that still allow to grasp the concept?

Or in other words: what do i miss (compared to siduction) If I install a minimal debian and then switching "mirrors" to sid?

For starters:
You won't be able to run virtualbox on the latest kernel.

If you really need a newer one, you can TRY this, might be slow  (MODS - remove if you need, no problems)

unfortunatly my system is broken for 2 months, and I really would like to do a fresh install. Waiting for the new siduction is not realy a problem, but do we have any information, when Plasma 6.6 will hit Debian? Will it at all? Plasma 6.7 will come in june, so maybe debian maintainer are waiting for this release?

Sid uses Plasma 6.6.3 now. The same is true for Siduction.

Hey Devil, was sagt der Blick in die Glaskugel. Bin etwas in der Zwickmühle, da mein System wirklich hin ist, nach dem letzten DU startet es nicht einmal mehr. Ich stehe vor der Wahl das iso-Testbuild zu installieren oder noch zu warten. Ein, zwei Wochen wäre möglich, aber die Situation mit dem alten System von 2022, was auf der Backupplatte läuft ist nicht optimal 

Ohne nerven zu wollen, sollte ich noch warten?

@Lanzi, have you tried to fix it with the "chroot helper" on the live ISO? It is easy and powerful if you have some idea about where the problem is.
